Leather
Working with our vast worldwide supplier base, Moriden America provides full grain leather, corrected grain leather, synthetic leather, and bonded leather to the automotive industry. The leather can also be designed in conjunction with automotive grade vinyl to provide customers
with a coordinated leather seating design.
Vinyl
Tapping our global supplier base, Moriden America designs, develops, and markets automotive grade vinyl to meet our customers’ design and pricing requirements. Moriden America has extensive experience coordinating vinyl with leather for automotive seating.
Processes
Design
Moriden America possesses the unique ability to work with designers, both domestic and international, to design and develop innovative and functional seating materials. In addition, Moriden America coordinates seating materials with other interior trim parts to provide a total interior design approach.
Color Tuning
Working with our extensive worldwide suppler base, Moriden America color tunes and
synchronizes color development between various seating materials. Employing our expertise
with carpets and other interior trim, Moriden America coordinates color development
throughout the vehicle.
Construction Development
Possessing expertise in all the various types of seating fabrics, Moriden America develops automotive grade fabrics to meet our customers’ design specifications. Moriden America
develops various constructions and embosses for both leathers and vinyl to customer requirements.
Testing & Certification
Moriden America performs a wide range of testing and certification for fabrics, leather,
and vinyl.
Inventory Control, Quality Assurance and Delivery
Moriden America inventories and inspects all seating material that we develop. This capability allows our customers to carry less inventory at their facility and provides a buffer in case of
supply problems. This capability becomes especially useful at build out as we track
inventories very closely for our customers.
